Hi,
Some of you may remember an old plugin I made to add a dropdown menu to select smiley in formatting toolbar.
It comes back !

This plugin should replace the default Emoticons plugin, they have the same purpose, I've just added some shortcuts.

Download, install, disable the original "Emoticons Plugin by esotalk", enable "Emoticons Plus",and voilà !

I have to say to Toby that it was a lot easier to make it with this version of ET than with the old one.
If you are asking why I don't use the original Plugin, it's because the original pluggin does not provide a way to access to the list of emoticons...
