  6. It seems you have not correctly updated your esoTalk installation to the latest version. As the index() functions are being renamed to action_index(), see for example https://github.com/esotalk/esoTalk/blob/master/core/controllers/ETMemberController.class.php#L66

    • Backup your database with mysqldump, phpMyAdmin or with this plugin .
    • Backup the config and uploads folder
    • Reinstall your esoTalk installation.
  7. i.e. I have to install new installation, but NOT upgrade to g4?

  8. Edited 4 years ago by hajduk

    Yes, i did it:
    1/ Backup my DB
    2/ Backup the config and uploads
    3/ Delete all ftp and DB
    4/ Install new esotalk
    5/ Import from backup DB
    Channels does not work :((( And "View more" does not work too. Pity. Look http://kido.com.ru/index.php/

  9. Can you please check the existence of action_index() function in ETMemberController.class.php?

  10. OMG! This is awesome!!. <3 ESOTALK! :)

  11. On the ajax request to "http://kido.com.ru/?p=conversations/index.ajax/all" server return "view":null
    On the GET request to "http://kido.com.ru/conversations/all" server return all records

    @Tristan Can you please check the existence of action_index() function in ETMemberController.class.php?

    Yes, it exists

    /**
     * View a member's profile. Default to the activity pane.
     *
     * @param string $member The ID of the member.
     * @return void
     */
    public function action_index($member = "")
    {
    	$this->action_activity($member);
    }
  13. @khalgand On the ajax request to "http://kido.com.ru/?p=conversations/index.ajax/all" server return "view":null
    On the GET request to "http://kido.com.ru/conversations/all" server return all records

    great... So what can I do now?

    Windows server
    Fatal Error (esotalk recent version) any ideas in how I may fix this?

    When you put a name of someone that is similiar to a members name it will automatically add @ before the name that doesn't exists and throws this php error once you click on it.

    Which version of PHP do you have installed?

  16. php 5.4

  17. @Tech php 5.4

    Needs updated to 5.5.17 or 5.6.0 (Recommend 5.6.0 as this is the latest and is currently stable enough for use.)

    unfortunately for now there's nothing I can do on upgrading PHP so for now I will solve problem by "disabling" in php setting showing of errors
