OpauthConnect

    I had to add this code to my /core/views/user/login.php file:

    <ul class="form">
    <li><?php $this->trigger("RenderOpauth"); ?></li>
    </ul>
  3. I installed this on a new forum that I set up to test esoTalk.

    The release version had problems that people ran into above, but the develop
    branch installed correctly. However, trying facebook and google, neither works at the moment.

    My demo forum:
    http://hauntedshit.com/forum/

    I went through the FB settings in detail, and when I try to connect:

    Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains.

    Google throws a different error:

    401. That’s an error.

    Error: invalid_client

    The OAuth client was not found.
    Request Details

    That’s all we know.

    Any suggestions?

    Facebook requires you to use HTTPS and you've got to make sure that you do the settings just right and for Google, they no longer uses the old sign in/login you've got to do it through Google+ now.

  5. Hi, @alex21! Was there any updates for VK login?

  6. I can't run this plugin. Please help me.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method ETPlugin_OpauthConnect::getResource() in C:\xampp\htdocs\bdv\addons\plugins\OpauthConnect\plugin.php on line 43
  7. @sebelebettinkam I can't run this plugin. Please help me.
    Fatal error: Call to undefined method ETPlugin_OpauthConnect::getResource()

    esoTalk no longer uses the old php coding so getResource and getView no longer works. So you'll have to remove get from the lines that are include in both of them.

  8. @Henry Like the ability to tweet/facebook like posts?

    I would have thought that's what they mean! :)

  9. Alright so I've now gotten this to work!
    After uploading the new version unzipping and activing the plugin.
    Add <ul class="form"> <li><?php $this->trigger("RenderOpauth"); ?></li> </ul> to both /core/views/user/login.php and /core/views/user/join.php
    After edit ETSettingsController.class.php line 65 making it public function profile($pane = "") then in OpauthConnect on line162 change it to $sender->profile("settings/social/accounts"); it'll work just fine till the next update or so on. lol

    You've got to string your url through Google Plus now so doing it through Google normally won't work.

    updates?

  12. @Tech updates?

    You'd have to ask the person who developed the plugin. Other than that the plugin is working fine.

    Try re-uploading the image files. Another thing that I did was just replace them with new ones.

    error in setting social accounts

    Fatal error: Call to protected method ETSettingsController::profile() from context 'ETPlugin_OpauthConnect' in /home/forum/public_html/myforum.com/addons/plugins/OpauthConnect/plugin.php on line 162

  19. @madrid error in setting social accounts

    Fatal error: Call to protected method ETSettingsController::profile() from context 'ETPlugin_OpauthConnect' in /home/forum/public_html/myforum.com/addons/plugins/OpauthConnect/plugin.php on line 162

    You have to make sure that >core>controllers>ETSettingsController.class.php line 37 isn't protected but public then there shouldn't be any error. On line 162 I changed it to $sender->profile("settings/social/accounts"); because that was the only way it'd work for me.
